DEARBORN — The 21st Annual Henry Ford Community College Mike Adray Memorial Golf Tournament presented by MemberFocus Community Credit Union will feature several festivities during the event, including a GolFit group session.
The tournament takes place May 16 at the Dearborn Country Club, 800 N. Military.
The event raises money for 100 scholarships of $1,000 each for local high school students seeking a college education. It begins at 6 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Morning golfer registration will open at 6:30 a.m. The silent auction will begin at 7 a.m. The morning round shotgun will go off at 7:30 a.m.
Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m.
In the afternoon, golfer registration will open at noon. The afternoon round shotgun will go off at 1 p.m. Entertainment, along with wine tasting and appetizers, will begin at 4 p.m.
Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Interested golfers may sign up for the morning round for $200 or the afternoon round for $250. Attendees will play 18 holes of golf, receive breakfast, lunch, dinner and all evening activities – including wine tasting (nominal donation), entertainment and a silent auction. Tournament sponsorships are available beginning at $500.
In case the golf tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather, no rain checks will be granted. Instead, the silent auction, wine tasting and dinner will begin at 4 p.m.
