DEARBORN — The Dearborn Public Schools 25+ Club, an organization made up of retired district and Henry Ford Community College staff members, along with the Board of Education, will host its 57th annual banquet at 5:30 p.m. May 17 at Park Place Catering, 23400 Park.
The event honors retirees and 25-year employees of DPS.
The event begins with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and program at 6:30 p.m. Honorees attend as guests of the club and school board. All other employees, regardless of years of service, all retirees from DPS, and friends are invited to attend.

Thirty-seven retirees will receive an engraved tray honoring them for their 25 or more years of full-time service to the district or college. Seventy retirees will receive a certificate which honors their full or part-time service to the district for less than 25 years. Staff members who are not retiring but have reached 25 years of service (as of June 2013) will receive the 25+ Award.
Club President Marlene Lewis, will host the program that will include comments from Supt. Brian Whiston, School Board and HFCC Trustee President Pam Adams, a representative from HFCC, and board members of the 25+ Club who have worked to organize this year’s event.
