DEARBORN — Police here are seeking the public’s help in locating two men who stole a woman’s purse April 29 at Express Poultry, 15038 W. Warren.

Police said one of the men assaulted the victim and stole her purse, then he and the second man fled north on Payne in a tan or gold 1990 Chrysler New Yorker with a rear rag top and exterior body damage.

The attacker was described as black, in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, medium build and round face and wearing a dark colored suit. The driver of the vehicle was described as black.

The purse was later recovered in the 9500 block of St. Marys in Detroit. Bank cards, an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry, and a wallet containing paperwork were missing.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the men or the incident are asked to call the Dearborn Police Tip line at 313-943-3030.
