LINCOLN PARK — An evening of local memories and stories was postponed last week by yet another round of weather warnings and record-setting snow.

History marches on, though, and the Lincoln Park Museum will this week host on author Don Wallace for a stroll down memory lane.

Wallace will discuss and sign copies of “Growing Up in Simpler Times: Memories of Lincoln Park.” At 7 p.m. Wednesday at the museum, 1335 Southfield Road.

Wallace accepted the challenge of putting his many tales in book form from friends and family.

Copies of “Growing Up in Simpler Times” will be available for $10. Light refreshments will be served. Contact the museum for information at 313-386-3137.
