Credit unions group seeks non-profit grant requests

May 4, 2014 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

Metro West Chapter of Credit Unions is seeking non-profit organizations in Wayne and Washtenaw counties in need of financial grants of up to $2,500 to support local community improvement activities.

The money awarded must be used to directly benefit the communities of Wayne or Washtenaw counties. This year the chapter will award at least $10,000.

Non-profit organizations that wish to apply must complete an online application at http://metrowest.mcul.org/2014-charity-grant-application by May 31. Questions may be emailed to [email protected].

Grant recipients will be notified by July 31.  Top recipients will be invited to attend and be recognized at the Metro West Chapter Charity Golf Outing in August.

The mission of the Metro West Chapter is to support the educational needs, community improvement and political advocacy for credit unions in its chapter.
