FOLD book, media sale May 7

May 4, 2014 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – Friends of the Library Dearborn will host a book and media sale open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave.

This month, there is a twist. A preview sale will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 6 for customers with a current paid membership with FOLD.

The FOLD membership application is on the library’s website at www.dearbornlibrary.org. Yearly memberships are $5 for students and seniors, $10 for individuals, and $200 for a lifetime membership.

Prospective members may take a completed application
and payment to the preview sale.

This month’s sale will feature a selection of new, never-been-read books. These books were received from a donor who purchased part of the Borders Bookstore inventory at the time the store closed. Titles include novels and non-fiction books.

The teen and children’s area also is fully stocked with graphic novels and music CDs.

For more information about FOLD or the book and media sale, call the library at 313-943-2330.
