July 20, 2014 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church invites families with children to attend vacation Bible school Aug. 3 to 7.

The program is open to children in the community from ages 3 years through fifth grade. It will feature a family dinner each night.

The church is at 24110 Cherry Hill.

The optional dinner for children and families begins at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by the children’s program from 6 to 8:15 p.m. The program and dinner are free.

This year’s theme, “Heroes Unmasked,” introduces children to heroes of the Bible including Elijah, David, Esther, Daniel and Jesus.

Children learn and worship in age appropriate groups with songs, crafts, games, Bible stories and outdoor activities.

The program is led by Lauren Russell, CHPC’s director of Youth Ministry-Christian Edu-cation.

To register, or for more information go to the church’s web site, www.cherryhillchurch.org, or call the church office at 313-563-4800. The registration deadline is July 27.
