TRENTON – The Halloween spirit isn’t limited to the last day of the month, and city recreation officials are setting the seasonal stage in a variety of ways.

A regular feature on the recreation calendar will be the 11th annual Scary Skate, beginning at 7:20 p.m. Oct. 24 at Kennedy Recreation Center, 3101 West Road. Costumed skaters of all ages are welcome.

Fees range from $1 for costumed residents to $4 for non-resident adults for an evening’s worth of fun and games.

Gonyea said trick-or-treat hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 on the streets of the city.

For more information on these and other activities contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 734-675-7300 or go to www.trentonmi.org/parksandrec.
