Free concert by Air Force Orchestra Oct. 24 at Ford Center

DEARBORN — The United States Air Force Orchestra will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Friday, at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.

Although admission is free, all patrons must have a ticket. Tickets are available at the theater box office, which is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through the day of the concert.

Tickets will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to four per person.

The United States Air Force Orchestra is a 45-member ensemble whose repertoire ranges from symphonic band masterworks and traditional marches to modern compositions and jazz.

The group also features professional vocal soloists performing a variety of popular, classical and patriotic selections.
