DEARBORN — An Oak Park man died of gunshot wounds Friday after being shot earlier that morning on Ford Road between Oakman Boulevard and Wyoming.
A passing motorist called police after seeing Rolex Dior Johnson, 23, lying in the road about 2 a.m. Police investigators said Johnson was suffering from two gunshot wounds and had collapsed in the street.
Rescue personnel transported Johnson to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police had no suspects as of press time. A police spokesman declined further comment.

“Crimes of this magnitude are extremely rare in the city of Dearborn and the loss of life in this incident is profoundly tragic,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “Our thoughts are with the family of Mr. Johnson and we are committed to utilizing every resource at our disposal to bring the person or persons responsible to justice.”
