July 10, 2015 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – The Museum Guild of Dearborn will hold its sixth annual garage sale fundraiser at the historic McFadden-Ross House, 915 S. Brady, July 16 to 18.

The hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 16 and 17, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 18.

Organizers promise a “market like atmosphere” with donated items displayed outside and in tents and profits helping to support the Dearborn Historical Museum. Collectables, arts and crafts, furniture and the usual garage sale treasures can be found at this yearly event.

Booth space is available for people who want to sell their own arts, crafts and personal items. Individuals must provide their own table, chair, table covering, canopy and sign. Overnight security will be provided by the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War. The charge is $25 for one day, $40 for two days or $50 for all three days.

To rent sales space or to arrange a local pick up for items being donated to the museum guild sale, contact Rick Danes at 313-363-3560.

Hot dogs, chips and water will be available to purchase.

For more information, phone the Dearborn Historical Museum at 313-565-3000.
