TAYLOR – Minor traffic delays are expected on Pardee and Goddard beginning Monday and lasting through April 29, for road patching.
Patching will take place on Pardee Road from Superior to Goddard roads, and Goddard Road from Pardee to Allen roads.
The city contracted with Al’s Asphalt Paving to patch the asphalt road surface.
City Engineer Greg Mayhew said sections of deteriorated asphalt road surface will be milled and removed, the base cleaned and prepped, and asphalt replaced and compacted level.
Mayhew said Al’s Asphalt Paving will be working on the streets moving in the directions of traffic with “rolling” traffic controls and partial lane closures. There will be minor traffic delays.
Mayhew asks that drivers be patient and drive carefully in the work areas. He further suggested that drivers might consider avoiding the roads during the work dates.
City officials said they are trying to limit the inconvenience as best as possible.
