DEARBORN — Michigan State Police raided Dearborn Medical Clinic, 15401 W. Warren Ave., this morning where doctors allegedly are over-prescribing opioids to patients.
About eight law enforcement vehicles were on the scene just after 9 a.m.
Officers blocked the entrance to the building and blocked Warren Avenue from the clinic to Greenfield Road, delaying drivers.
MSP Lt. Michael Shaw said the investigation is ongoing and more details will be released.
Any patients of the office who need their medical records from the clinic may call the State of Michigan Department of Attorney General Criminal Division at 313-456-0180 and mention Dr. Mohammad Derani.
