Dearborn police seek public’s help for stolen F-150s

September 13, 2017 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — The Police Department is asking the public’s help in solving the thefts of four Ford F-150s from Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit, 15000 N. Commerce Drive.

Police were called to the scene about 4:30 a.m. Sept. 13 on a report of stolen trucks. Officers discovered a large section of chain link fencing had been cut, allowing the vehicles to be driven off the property.

The Police Department is asking people with information to call 313-943-2241, or if they wish to remain anonymous they may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP.

“Crime prevention is a collaborative effort between the police and the community,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “I am urging anyone with information to come forward.”
