DEARBORN — A manager at McDonald’s, 13158 Ford Road, was fired on Sept. 11 after a video captured her arguing with a customer in the drive-through on Sept. 8.

The customer, Tyler Lamb, posted the video to Facebook with the caption “What happeneds when mcdonalds gives you wrong orders n cold food and refuses to replace it. #mcdonalds #shameful.”

During the clip, Lamb tells the employees that every time he goes to that McDonalds location he has an issue while the manager responds saying, “Why do you come back?”

Lamb goes on to say that he just wanted his meal replaced whereupon an employee apologizes and says he is holding up the line.

The employee also said that Lamb could call the cooperation at 6 a.m. the next morning with any issues he had.

As the video continues, the manager approaches the drive-through window and begins yelling at Lamb, telling him, “You got to get me off the phone, that’s illegal” along with a racial slur and an explative.

The clip ends with co-workers holding the manager back and Lamb driving away saying, “All right, you’re fired.”

Lamb was refunded the money for his meal by the restaurant’s owner on Sept. 11.

“We have zero tolerance for any employee who disrespects our customers,” McDonald’s Spokeswoman Leslie Pardo said in a statement. “We immediately terminated the manager upon learning of this incident. All personnel are trained to provide high-quality service to our valued customers.”
