Santa at Dearborn Fire Safety House Dec. 1-2

December 1, 2017 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN –  Santa Claus is coming to town — much earlier than anticipated.

Families are invited to meet Santa, celebrate the holidays and support the Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive.

The annual event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 1 and 2, at the Fire Safety House, 19750 W. Outer Drive, next to Fire Station 2.

The public is invited; no tickets or reservations are required.

Children will receive goodie bags, cookies, hot cocoa and balloons. And, of course, they will have the opportunity to tell Santa their wishes.

Donations will be collected at the event for the Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive, a non-profit group aimed at assisting children and people in need.

Money raised from donations will be used to purchase toys, which will be delivered to children in hospitals by Dearborn firefighters before Christmas.
