DEAROBRN — The Dearborn Travel Club invites area seniors to find out more about the organization at a Garden Party from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 16 at Dearborn Hills Clubhouse, 1300 S. Telegraph.
Tour conductors will be on hand to discuss upcoming trips and informational flyers describing the trips will be available.
The $10 admission fee includes a BBQ lunch and cash bar, along with music, games and prizes.
Guests will also be able to join the Dearborn Travel Club, a non-profit organization sponsored by the Recreation & Parks Department’s Senior Services Division.
Dearborn residents, ages 50 and over, and their sponsored non-resident guests are eligible to join the club. Annual dues are $12 for residents and $17 for non-residents.
Membership benefits include a quarterly newsletter, lost baggage control, group travel rates, custom-designed trips and special theme parties.
