HEIGHTS — Police are asking the public for information on two suspects who stole a vehicle from Morton Street in the city’s north end Aug. 18.

The Police Department posted the video on its Facebook page showing a woman parking her blue Nissan truck in the driveway and taking a child inside the house.

The woman took the child inside about 12:30 p.m., and left the driver side door open and vehicle unattended. Two people walk up to the truck from the sidewalk, enter the truck and drive away.

According to the Facebook post, the vehicle has been recovered, but the suspects have not been arrested.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Detective Sgt. Jake Hatten at 313-277-7716.
