TAYLOR – A Dec. 20 fire that claimed the life of Abagail Meisel and her 2-year-old son Colton Hance has claimed its third victim, 4-year-old Luci Hance, who died in the hospital of her injuries.

Doctors declared Luci to be brain dead Dec. 24, but she was not removed from life support until late last week.

The fire, believed to have started in the basement, is still under investigation. Foul play was not suspected.

Funeral arrangements are being made through Martenson Funeral Home, 10915 Allen Road, Allen Park. Visitation will be Jan. 3 from 2 to 9 p.m., with a 6 p.m. service.
