Police seek public’s help in shooting

Dearborn police are seeking two people of interest allegedly involved in a shooting Jan. 5 at Ram’s Horn, 6356 Greenfield Road.

DEARBORN — Police have asked the public’s help in identifying people of interest following a shooting about 5:30 a.m. Jan. 5 at Ram’s Horn, 6356 Greenfield Road.

Witnesses described an early morning altercation that escalated to several gunshots being fired at a vehicle as it left the parking lot, police said. Witnesses said the people involved in the altercation had been speaking with staff near the hostess stand prior to the shooting.

Surveillance video captured images of the people of interest.

“Our No. 1 priority is citizen safety,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “When that is jeopardized, we will do everything in our power to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice. I am urging the public to come forward and provide information regarding the individuals involved in this incident.”
