Dearborn Heights police are asking the public for information about a white male who robbed a business in the area of Pelham and Van Born roads May 29. The man entered the store, selected items for purchase, gave cash for the items but while the register was open and the employee was providing change, the man leaned over the counter and forcibly removed money from the register. According to police, the man — described as wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants with a red and blue hat possibly — fled on foot toward Taylor or Allen Park. Anyone with information about the suspect can call Detective Sgt. Joseph Reyna at 313-277-7709.
