A Detroit Enterprise Academy teacher (left) speaks with Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. during a surprise back-to-school shopping spree Sept. 3 at JCPenney in Fairlane Town Center. Each teacher received a $200 gift card to purchase items for their classrooms, and a donation of $1,000 in socks and underwear was made to the school. “Teachers go above and beyond daily to improve the future of our youth” Jones wrote on his Twitter. “What an honor to help kick this school year off right!.”
