DEARBORN — Paul Oscar-Cuevas Alvarado, 28, a Mexican citizen living in Dearborn, was arrested by U.S. Marshals at O’Hare International Airport for the charge of alleged sexual assault against him.

If convicted of the felony, he could face 15 years in prison.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said Alvarado was attempting to board a connecting flight to Dallas and then to Mexico on Nov. 21.

He was charged with third degree sexual assault by the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office in connection to an alleged incident in Commerce Township at a party with a woman in October.

Alvarado was living in Dearborn with a work visa but is originally from Saltillo, Mexico. He is currently being held in Chicago awaiting extradition to Oakland County.
