2 sought in jewelry store robbery

Police are seeking two men who robbed Hak’s Jewelry, 10221 W. Warren Ave., July 22. They escaped in a late-model black Jeep Grand Cherokee with 5-point star rims.

DEARBORN — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two men who robbed Hak’s Jewelry, 10221 W. Warren Ave., July 22.

Just before 5:30 p.m., two men armed with handguns entered the store and stole assorted jewelry. They escaped in a late-model black Jeep Grand Cherokee with 5-point star rims.

One of the men was described as white or Arabic, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall with a slim build, and the other a male of unknown race, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build.

“Brazen acts of violent crime will not be tolerated in the City of Dearborn, and with the assistance of the community, the suspects will be brought to justice,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said.
