TAYLOR — Police are investigating multiple shootings that took place on Dec. 3 and 5.

One person was shot in a house drive-by shooting about 11:30 p.m. Dec. 3 in the 7500 block of Ziegler. The man suffered a nonfatal gunshot wound to his arm. Police found shell casings on the street.

Police interviewed witnesses and asked residents with security cameras living nearby for video footage that may have captured the shooting.

According to police, the man who was shot was inside the house at the time. There was also another shooting nearby where gunshots were fired related to the initial scene.
On Dec. 5, police dispatch received a phone call about a shooting at a townhouse at The Ponds Townhomes.

A man and woman who knew each other were reportedly arguing in front of the townhouse early that afternoon when the calls about a man firing multiple shots from a handgun were made.

He fired toward the home and woman’s vehicle, according to police, who have not located the man.

Both cases are being investigated.
