Holiday spirit is alive and well in Dearborn, and especially so at the houses selected by the City Beautiful Commission through the Dearborn Aglow awards. Honorees Kofi Nanatambu and Frank Pizzini Jr. at 3344 Katherine decorated with gusto.
DEARBORN – The City Beautiful Commission announced the addresses and household names for most of this year’s honorees in the Dearborn Aglow awards, the program that recognizes particularly vibrant and eye-catching holiday displays around the city.
Residents are encouraged to congratulate their neighbors for the effort and thoughtfulness reflected in their front lawns, and to take a drive through the neighborhoods to view the festive light displays. A few more addresses will be added soon, but in the interest of encouraging individuals to visit, the city is announcing the homes that have been selected as of Dec. 21.

Every year volunteer City Beautiful commissioners, working with the Property Maintenance and Development Services Department, appraise Dearborn’s neighborhoods looking for exemplary holiday displays. Honorees are selected from among the 17 districts created by City Beautiful to ensure all parts of Dearborn are represented.
