HEIGHTS — The victim of a missing catalytic converter called police to report the larceny Feb. 25.

According to the report, the victim was visiting his mother Feb. 25 at a house in the 6800 block of Heyden where he parked his blue GMC Sierra in the driveway. The next morning, he attempted to remote start the GMC but it was not working. When he started the GMC using the key, he noticed the exhaust system was very loud.

It was discovered that the catalytic converter was missing. There was no suspect information or security cameras in the area that could’ve captured the theft.
