WYANDOTTE — A stranger stole a wallet from a purse in an employee break room the evening of March 5 from Walgreens, 3221 Fort St.

The victim, a cashier, said she was startled when she walked into the room and found a stranger inside it, who claimed he was looking for a restroom. He quickly left the store, after which the victim discovered her wallet, with cash, identification and financial cards, missing.

Police detectives are reviewing surveillance footage in an attempt to identify the thief.
