RIVERVIEW — Police were dispatched to a house on Valade Street Feb. 22 after the resident reported his city of Riverview trash can, valued at $75, was missing.
The resident said he placed his trash can in front of his house Feb. 21 about 8 p.m. and when he went out the next morning to put the trash can away, he noticed it was missing. Officers were able to get a trash can number for the stolen trash can and inform Department of Public Works that it was stolen. The DPW said it would replace the trash can later that day.
A message was left for the resident to inform him about the replacement.
