HEIGHTS — The victim of a March 4 break-in called police to a house in the 3900 block of Campbell where a TV and pills were stolen.

The victim said he left his house at 8:30 a.m. to visit his father in the hospital, and when he returned at 10:30 a.m. the back door was broken open. A Sony flat screen TV worth $286 was missing, and 88 Norco pills belonging to the victim’s father were also stolen.

Police noticed the back door kicked in with a boot print on the door, the frame of the black door heavily damaged. Two rooms in the house were ransacked by the intruder looking for valuables, according to the report.

Photos of the damage were taken as evidence. When asked if he knew who could’ve broken into the house, the victim said it was someone he knew due to the fact that the Norco bottle was hidden.
