RIVERVIEW — Police were dispatched to an apartment on Brookview Drive to investigate a damaged window and broken screen the night of Feb. 27.
The victim said he was watching television about 11 p.m. when he heard a loud bang on his living room window. He did not know what the sound was so he went outside to check. According to the report, the victim did not see anyone around and did not see anything wrong with his window at the time so he went back inside.
The next morning, he woke up and was able to look at the window closer in the daylight and he noticed a large hole in the screen near the ground on the left side of the window. Also, the glass was broken.
The victim noticed a large piece of concrete lying in front of the window that was not there before. Police also observed the damage and the concrete piece on the ground. There was no suspect information so the case status was listed as closed.
The estimated value of the window and screen is approximately $300.
