HEIGHTS — A homeowner called police to his house in the 26000 block of Ford Road March 18 after several items were stolen during a break-in.
He said, at some point over the last two to three weeks someone got into the garage and stole the items. The homeowner was last in the garage approximately three weeks ago and remembers all the items being inside.
When he was cleaning outside March 18, he noticed a $200 SentrySafe fire and waterproof safe with a digital keypad, a $400 power washer, a $200 Ryobi electric weed trimmer, a $100 Toro leaf blower, a 55-inch Sony TV valued at $300 and a $250 white leather chair were missing. The total value of the items was $1,450.
Police did not observe any signs of forced entry and there were no security cameras at the house or at houses nearby.
