Window damaged by possible pellet

HEIGHTS — Police were dispatched to a house in the 6200 block of Fairwood Drive March 18 for a malicious destruction of property.

The victim believed someone shot her east bedroom window with a pellet or BB gun, according to dispatch. She discovered the damage about 2:30 p.m. that same day. There was a small hole in the exterior pane, punctured by an unknown object and the victim does not know who or what caused the damaged.

The responding officer noticed a dime-size crack in the window with a pin-size hole in the middle. According to the report, the cause of the damage could not be determined since there was no objects around the window.

There were no security cameras in the area.
