MELVINDALE — A catalytic converter was reported stolen March 11 from a 2009 Ford Escape parked overnight in the 19200 block of Wall Street.
The victim said she noticed a loud noise when she started up the vehicle in the morning. She also provided police detectives with photos of the underside of the vehicle, which showed where the exhaust component was removed.
