Dearborn Heights police are seeking information on a man involved in an armed robbery May 5 at Walgreens, 5709 S. Telegraph Road. The man entered the store about 1 a.m., and walked around before approaching the front counter of the register and waiting for the customer to leave. He then went around the counter, grabbed the cashier and held what appears to be a knife to her neck and forcing her to open the register. According to police, the suspect took money from the register while still holding the knife then ran around the counter and out the front door. He got into an older model blue or black Ford Escape and fled north on Telegraph. The robber is described as a white male, 6 feet to 6 feet and 2 inches tall, wearing glasses, a face mask, black shirt with an unzipped dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
