DEARBORN — A thief walked out of Rite Aid, 22521 Michigan Ave., with more than $224 worth of whiskey and bourbon the afternoon of April 28 by concealing the bottles inside of his coat.

A store clerk said the shoplifter was a black male in his 50s with short gray hair, wearing a tan hat, gray sweats and white shoes.

She said the man stole a $38 bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label scotch, a $50 bottle of Jameson Stout whiskey, a $39 bottle of Woodford whiskey, a $40 bottle of Maker’s Mark 46 bourbon, a $27 bottle of Larceny whiskey, a $30 bottle of New Holland Beer Barrel bourbon and an unknown bottle of brandy.

The employee said surveillance footage of the theft is available.
