ALLEN PARK — Police were dispatched to Mick’s Bar, 6815 Roosevelt, on a report of a fight about 12:41 a.m. April 17. Upon arrival, officers spoke with one of the offenders involved who was highly intoxicated and said he was punched in the face but couldn’t advise who did it.

When first responders arrived, the man was uncooperative, saying he did not want to go to the hospital and didn’t want police assistance. He was advised to leave the bar immediately.

A short time later, officers heard a large group of people yelling in the rear parking lot. Police observed a large group of people with another person and the man in the middle exchanging punches and shoving each other. Officers broke up the fight and detained both of the offenders.

Both refused medical treatment and were issued citations for disorderly person. They were released to sober adults and taken from he scene without further incident. Staff at the bar said neither offender was served at at the bar and must have entered through the back gate which had no security.
