LINCOLN PARK — Two sisters shopping at a grocery store in the 1200 block of Southfield Road said two people in line behind them initiated unwanted physical contact and may have stolen some of their bagged groceries.
The woman reporting the incident said the interaction began when a shopper tried to touch her sister’s face mask, which prompted her to ask them to back away, since her sister is medically vulnerable.
The victim said she saw one of the shoppers in line behind them handle one of her cans of soda, much to her distress, and said when she got home, she discovered that a 12-pack of Faygo lime soda and a box of ice cream cones were missing from her grocery bags.
The boundary violating shoppers were described as an overweight white man in his 50s and a 30-year-old white woman with brown hair.
