SOUTHGATE — The front and rear driver’s side tires on a silver 2018 Chevy Malibu, valued at $500, were found flattened the morning of July 4 in the 14000 block of Breast Street.

The victim, who hesitated when asked if someone might have a motive for vandalizing her car, declined to provide a suspect’s name to the responding police officers.

The police officers did not see any slash marks on the tires, but did observe damage to the rims. There were no nearby surveillance cameras.
