ALLEN PARK — A victim of larceny called police after her stay at the Comfort Inn, 3600 Enterprise Drive, where a Glock 43 9-millimeter pistol went missing. She said she is a truck driver and was at the hotel overnight.

When the victim was getting ready to check out of her room about 11:30 a.m. June 21 she began gathering her belongings, but was unable to locate the pistol. According to the report, the pistol was in blue bag. The victim checked her truck and her room thoroughly but could not find it. She was sure that she took her pistol to the room.

Police entered the pistol into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen. The report was taken June 26 because the victim lives in Georgia. At the time the pistol was stolen, the victim did not have gun registration or a serial number to provide officers.
