RIVERVIEW — Police were dispatched to Family Health PC, 19020 Fort St., Aug. 16 for a hit-and-run that occurred in the parking lot. The victim said she parked her red Chevy Malibu in the parking lot in front of the business.
She said she entered Family Health about 3 p.m. for a doctor’s appointment and exited about 3:30 p.m. when she discovered her Malibu was damaged above the passenger side wheel well.
The officer observed white paint transfer where the damage was on the Malibu. She said she did not witness who hit her vehicle. According to the report, the officer checked the surrounding businesses and did not observe any exterior parking lot camera’s that could have caught the incident.
Police were told by the victim that she was not going to make an insurance claim for the minor damage to the Malibu. The officer checked “The Commons” parking lot in attempt to locate a suspect vehicle but was unable to locate a one at the time of the report.
