SOUTHGATE — An irate woman told police officers the morning of Aug. 8 that her fiancée dropped her off at Kroger, 16705 Fort St., the evening before, but failed to pick her up after texting her that he was going to a bar.
The man was driving the woman’s 2021 black Chevy Equinox, leaving her without transportation. She said she did not know what bar he might have gone to, and said he had not been in contact with her. She was advised to contact the Southgate Police Department if her fiancée and SUV failed to reappear.
