MELVINDALE — A resident of Coogan Terrace, who sold their Bichon Frise dog to another resident on Aug. 13, for $25, abruptly changed their mind, grabbed their pet and hid in their apartment without refunding the buyer’s money.
The purchaser showed police officers a hand-written bill of sale.
When police officers knocked on the seller’s apartment door, they heard a dog barking, but no one responded to their knock. The victim was advised that a police report would be filed documenting the circumstances.
