The city of Dearborn Heights hosted its final Concert in the Park for 2021 Sept. 9 at Warren Valley Golf Course. The event featured the music of David Bowie tribute band Serious Moonlight, and also included children’s games, train rides, strolling musician and juggler, face painting, food and beer tent. The evening concluded with a live lighted drone show by Firefly Drones. The Parks & Recreation Department will host is inaugural Harvest Celebration & Craft Sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Canfield Community Center, 1801 N. Beech Daly. The event will feature entertainment, helicopter drop, face painting, balloon art, petting farm, pony rides, live music, kiddie train rides, pumpkin carving and judging, and a craft sale.
