LINCOLN PARK — Two Chihuahuas were stolen Sept. 9 from the front yard of a residence in the 2000 block of Regina Avenue while a resident was doing yardwork.
A neighbor said he saw an older white female, in an older model Ford Explorer, with a gray driver’s side door, take the dogs from the yard.
She reportedly told a witnessing neighbor that if the owner wanted his dogs back, he could find her on Thomas Avenue.
Police officers drove along Thomas Avenue, but were unable to find a vehicle matching the witness’ description.
One of the missing Chihuahuas has brown fur, while the other has white and brown fur.
