LINCOLN PARK — A pharmacy in a medical office building in the 25800 block of Outer Drive was burglarized at 2:48 a.m. Sept. 8, with the thief escaping with an unknown quantity of narcotics from an unsecured drug safe.

Police officers, who responded to an alarm, found the front door pried open, and an interior door to the pharmacy open. A drug safe was found ransacked, with bottles of medication on the floor.

The building owner responded to the location, and said the entire building has surveillance cameras, and he would have someone check and download the footage. He said the lock on the drug safe had been broken for about a week prior to the burglary.

He said he would have to check his medication supply against the inventory list to determine what was taken, and would then supply a list to the police detectives and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
