LINCOLN PARK — A Lincoln Park man reported Sept. 13 that he received an Amazon alert to his phone that a computer ordered in his name had been shipped to a house in Eastpointe.
He then discovered that a withdrawal had been made from his credit union account to pay for the computer purchase.
The victim said he had contacted his credit union, canceled his debit card and notified Amazon of the fraud. There were no suspects.
