ALLEN PARK — A man called police to Becker Sept. 25 for an overnight break-in.
He told police that he and his wife recently had purchased the home and were going to start moving in their belongings. An inspection of their belongings had been completed the previous evening and everything was in order when they left for the night. According to the report, the side garage door was locked, but when man returned, he found it open but nothing was taken.
A blue Internet wire that ran form the house to the garage was cut, there was a cracked piece of siding on the face of the garage next to the opened garage door and garage door panels on the exterior that looked to be slightly bent.
Inside, a part of the garage door frame was bent outward and looked like a pry bar had been used. Police didn’t find any evidence left behind.
There was no suspect information.
