MELVINDALE — A catalytic converter was reported stolen Oct. 1 from a black 2009 Ford Escape while it was parked overnight near Bloomfield and Rialto streets.
The victim said they were alerted to the theft upon hearing a loud noise from the exhaust when they started the vehicle. There were no suspects.
