Dearborn Council meetings rescheduled to Nov. 9 and 16

October 28, 2021 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

Rescheduling is to accommodate Election Day activities

DEARBORN – The November committee of the whole meeting and the regular City Council meeting are being rescheduled to accommodate Election Day activities.

The new date for the committee of the whole meeting is Nov. 9. The new date for the regular council meeting is Nov. 16. Both meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and are in the Council Chambers at the Dearborn Administrative Center, 16901 Michigan Ave.

Election Day is Nov. 2. It is anticipated that the City Clerk’s Office will be fully engaged in election activities the week of Nov. 2, and so could not accommodate the committee of the whole meeting that originally had been scheduled for Nov. 4.

Committee of the whole meetings typically take place on Thursdays, but the meeting could not occur on Nov. 11 as the DAC will be closed due to the Veterans Day holiday.
